The Confidence Project

Dear followers and friends and those who have stumbled across my blog —

I am starting a little project called The Confidence Project. 

What is it? A few times a week I will post a selfie or a photo of myself and/or some skill or something else I’m not sure I like about myself. 

Why? Lately I have been bringing myself down alot. Things like thinking I’m ugly, fat, etc. Self-hate is another way to put it. But I prefer self-dislike. 
Also, since my most recent selfies, lots of you have been complimenting me through my ask box and made me think; “Maybe I’m not so ugly.” So I would like to thank those who told me, and a few anons who were so kind. Thank you, you are the real inspiration behind this project.

This will be mainly a project for myself, to build some self esteem and confidence in myself and the things I do and am. But if you would like to do this yourself as well, be my guest! Simply reblog this post, and tag your entries (selfies, etc) to #Confidence Project your-url-here.

My entries will be simply tagged to #Confidence Project, so if you dont want to see those, blacklist that tag. (Also, I will occasionally post selfies unrelated to the project, those are tagged separately)

I think this project will help me, and also help or inspire others to take it easy on yourself, and that you’re all beautiful and talented and amazing. So keep doing what you’re doing.
